These terms govern your use of Care at Home Directory. By using the site, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
Service Scope
Care at Home Directory provides informational content, discovery tools, and referral pathways to home care agencies. We do not provide care services directly and are not a licensed home care provider.
User Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, use the service lawfully, and independently evaluate agencies, pricing, and care plans before engaging any provider.
No Medical Advice
Content on this site is for general informational use and does not replace professional medical, legal, or financial advice. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical decisions. See our medical disclaimer for details.
No Endorsement of Providers
Listing an agency on this site does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of quality. We encourage you to verify credentials, licensing, and references independently.
Referral and Affiliate Disclosure
Care at Home Directory may receive compensation from agencies or affiliate partners when visitors submit inquiries or engage listed providers.
Agencies can also pay for a listing plan. Agencies marked "Featured" pay for placement at the top of their city page and in homepage slots. Paid placement is advertising: it is not a rating, review, endorsement or verification of the agency's care. Other listings are ordered the same way whether or not an agency pays.
Agency Listing Plans: Billing and Cancellation
Listing plans are billed monthly to the card the agency enters at checkout. Each plan renews automatically every month until it is cancelled.
You can cancel at any time in billing. The billing link is in the email we send after payment, or you can write to support@careathomedirectory.com. After you cancel, your plan stays on until the end of the month you have paid for. Then it ends and we do not charge you again.
We do not refund part of a month. There is one exception: if we cannot verify your agency's state license, we cancel the plan and refund your payment in full.
If a monthly payment fails and stays unpaid, the Featured placement ends.
Limitation of Liability
Care at Home Directory is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of this site, reliance on listed information, or interactions with providers found through our platform.
Intellectual Property
All site content, design, and branding are owned by Brightwood Labs LLC or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
